After delaying interviewing this character for so long, this is the first time I’ve had the chance to talk to him.
This character is a controversial figure, many discordant voices are associated with him, but on the other hand it turns out that he is very loved by his guild members. This made me curious to interview him.
This figure is none other than Lord Babak of Noble (LB), the leader and founder of Majestic Tiger.
When I first spoke to him, I thought he was introverted and a bit arrogant, but it turned out that I was wrong. With help from Montana, I was finally able to talk to him directly and here is my interview with him.
n3m0: “How long you have played this? And does MT founded by you?”
LB: “5 years and something. Yes, MT is founded by me, I was a co-founder in another guild. The founder left the game and before that, he added some other founders which disagreed with me on everything. Either out of spite or lack of knowledge so I decided to make my own guild with the principles that I believed in. And seems that it worked well.”
n3m0: “I knew how hard it is to get new member, how do you get your new members at that time?”
LB: “It was really hard to make a guild from scratch because most guilds are founded by several players. Not all of them though. But I was by myself however some folks from the old guild joined me when they knew that I have made a new guild.”
n3m0: “I see… do they still play right now? Who are they?”
LB: “well, some of them don’t play the game anymore. The reason is this game is for people above certain age. Younger people normally prefer action games. So you see it often in FOE that people retire from the game.”
n3m0: “5 years.. to be listed in top 10 players of Jaims…. I dunno when i can be like you bhahahah”
LB: “your city looks really good. Smart players don’t rush to move up in ages and instead, work on their GBs so you’re doing it the right way. Beyond that, the points really don’t matter that much.”
n3m0: “*im blushing* yash! i am smart player also most handsome man in KT! dont you forget about that haha. Well, i got great mentors, they are Diana and Blaise. If i’m not doing well, they punish me by burning my azz on the fire lol”
LB: “Well. the most handsome man in KT is not my thing but I’m happy for the ladies in your guild. hahaha”
n3m0: “*yo Mia! Feli! Joan! look, even Lord Babak happy for me* bhahahhaa”
LB: laugh
n3m0: “What kind of guild member is the most valuable in your eyes?”
LB: “A well mannered one who cares about the team. That’s how we select our members. So if someone is even the best player in the game but with bad attitude, we don’t need them here. Well , just like parents , we always have favorites but we never tell, haha, right?
But MT is blessed with some of the best leaders in Jaims. Along with players who always care about their guild but I really don’t want to mention the names my friend. And frankly my opinion doesn’t matter here. As long as they enjoy being here, I’m happy too that I have done my duty to create a good atmosphere for my guild mates.”
n3m0: “What do you like most in your guild now and what is the biggest challenges/problems that you face now?”
LB: “The best thing I like here is respect. That’s the backbone. Also being there for each other which is why we are in guilds otherwise we would have played solo. Fortunately we have both here.
I really hope it doesn’t come out as bragging or advertising my own guild but it’s really how it is around here.
The biggest challenge is to encourage more players to engage in GBG. That will help the guild and themselves as well but they won’t see it unless they try it.”
n3m0: “I got some comments from few players from another guilds, they said that working with you in GBG is challenging and sometime you are demanding, what is your opinion on this? :)”
LB: “Well, as far as I know, I’m one of the most hated guys in this game. No kidding.
If you wonder why, there are 2 simple reasons for that.1st : I believe in fairness. I treat you the way you treat me. If you are polite and reasonable, I will do the same. If you are disrespectful, greedy and entitled and intimidating, I will behave the same. That’s my simple principle.
2nd reason is that I’m a very straightforward person and speak my mind. You will be surprised how many people hate that.”
n3m0: “why did you think that? I thought there is only one player that most hated by players, its mwak from 2S bhahaha
Well, i got another answer from your guild mate. They said you care a lot your guild much, that’s why you are sometime demanding, just for the benefit of you guild, that’s what i heard from them :)”
LB: “Yes, the thing that not many people don’t get about me is that I’m extremely guild-oriented. If I expect respect, it is not entirely for myself. It’s mainly because I represent other players in my guild who have put their trust in me. So no matter the cost, I will defend their interest. I may choose was or peace depending whichever best serves my guild and not myself.”
n3m0: “Montana or Mini?”
LB: “I can’t choose between two pretty ladies. Please don’t put me in that situation. haha
But they are both assets to MT and I’m glad we have such great leaders with great personalities on our side. And they always put the guild first and extremely loyal.”
n3m0: “the first time i met Mini in joint thread, she said that Montana has nice big boobs, is that true?”
LB: “Well, I’m sure Mini was trying to make a friendly atmosphere. I hope you’re not going to post about my mates’ boobs.lol”
n3m0: “bhahahahahahha LMAO”
n3m0: “Next question.
ppl said that you really like yourself, so you always make statues of yourself in GBG, what do you think about this?”
LB: “I may act as an arrogant, prideful person from time to time. I don’t deny that. But that’s my persona as a leader when it’s necessary to protect my people and get the first punch. Sometimes it’s better to make it about me rather than allowing it to affect my guild mates. Otherwise in real life, I’m a humble person.”
n3m0: “back to your guild, how long it takes to make a solid guild like now?”
LB: “oh, it takes a while and now with GBG in play, it takes even longer time”
n3m0: “why it takes even longer time?”
LB: “Good players normally don’t want to be in a new guild which is reasonable. Therefore with players who are not that advanced in the game, you will have a big challenge called the “Guild Treasury”.
So to fill that treasury , you need better and bigger players which won’t come to your new guild since with a new treasury you may not be able to fully function in GE and GBG so it becomes a catch-22 situation.”
n3m0: I see. What is your advise for new player?”
LB: “My best advise for new players is to listen to Lord Babak. hahaha”
n3m0: “bhahhahahahahh”
LB: “But jokes aside: first of all they need to find a good mentor. Someone who really gets this game. Could a friend or guild mate… And they need to find a good guild not necessarily the best ones because sometimes new players cannot keep up with the pace of top guilds. They also need to take their time in each age and build up and avoid age skipping which is not a good thing at all. Also roaming around Global chat which is mainly some old players who trash talk each other, certainly won’t help their game.”
n3m0: “what do you think with current FoE, better? or get worst?”
LB: “Current FOE is much better than when I started playing. There was a time that you had to collect SOKs for instance. You had to struggle for each single FP. But now the buildings from the event are so good. Also GBG is an excellent source of income for forge points and goods and should not be neglected at all. Despite what some players say, it’s not merely point farming. As now, if you wanna build your city quicker, GBG is a must.”
n3m0: “Any message to our KT specially and to other news reader in general?”
LB: “Well, KT is one of the best guilds in GBG which I have seen on the map. Enough fighters, rich in treasury, punctual with good leaders and good diplomacy. They have the whole package, I can’t comment on other aspects of their game since that requires someone to be there but GBG is always a good index of a guild management.”
Great Interview… LB is being very humble. He has collected a great group of players… with game knowledge, senses of humor, respect, and beauty! 😂. But be warned: this group can become ferocious if their tail is stepped on.
