When asked to write an article about the “Daily” of KT and what really makes the place tick I began to ponder why KT is so great. I mean this place is like a well-oiled machine that is run by A M A Z I N G humans, is there more to it than that. I thought about all the reasons why I think KT is the Best Guild Ever, but I am a mere mortal with a very biased opinion. KT lets me be M E, freely M E. As I pondered this all important question I did what every great reporter does and went out in the field to gather more….biased opinions. And this is what I discovered. KT is the Best Guild Ever the moment you walk through any door, even the back window. The smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies fills the air as you are welcomed by the masses. People wear bunny slippers, dark glasses, helmets, bikinis and even capes with the souls of their enemies. If you get overwhelmed by all of the threads they escort you to the Dented Shield hand you a beer and shove you in a booth where several court jesters pepper you with hilarity or “dad jokes”, what could be better than that. Well.. actually there is more… from misbehaving to individuality one thing really stands out…

KT OG, Naga professed his love for KT without even blinking one eye after six of his killer bunnies surrounded me. “It’s definitely the people. I’ve been here since the beginning and we’ve always looked out for each other. Always helped one another out. When a newbie comes here, we love to get them to enjoy this game as much as we do by getting the core GBs up and running. If one of us has a problem with the game, or in RL, someone is there to listen, talk about it, or try to help out. KT is more than a guild. It’s a family. We look out for each other. Yea, sometimes we argue but that’s what family’s do. It’s an honor and a joy to be apart of something this special.”
As tears welled in my eyes I knew that had to be the answer…I mean if you get all choked up, wait that’s a different story, that’s the good stuff the really good stuff. I looked at my notepad, then the ground where one bunny was chewing on my black stiletto and thought that’s the answer why do I need more, after-all, this is my favorite pair of Jimmy Choo’s. I turned to run back to the war room and ran smack into Dileasgubas. “Dileas, I’m on a time crunch!” I exclaimed. “Walk with me”.
As we walked Dileas messed up my make-up with this one.
“I have been in other guids like most people here although never found one even close to the compassion, helpfulness and care of most of the players here in KT. When I am busy working I know it will be alright, and when I am free to play it is always welcome. I have learned so much here and continue to do so. This is by far the best group of people I’ve found, and a few have made it even more special. While we all know RL comes first this guild creates an environment to fill holes in those gaps for many people.” As I listened it became even more clear that it really is the people that make KT the “Best Guild Ever“.
I looked up to find a long line of people wanting to get in on the interview and noticed others having a pool party at Blaise’s house. As I watched them dance in bikinis, do cannonballs in the pool, and laugh heartily about not being the craziest one here, Dileas handed me a tissue. I cleared the tear streaks from my face using my handy silver compact and felt a tap on my shoulder. A brand spanking new baby who had literally walked through our doors only hours earlier and enjoyed my “good stuff tour” was actually confident enough to hit me up. What Walker 1234 aka Christopher said with a huge smile on his face made my jaw drop and I instantly fell in love with the passion in his voice “It is rare in this world to find an endeavor that rewards teamwork, thoughtfulness, generosity, a sense of humor, as well as a sharing of hearts and minds such as FOE… It is winning the lotto rare to find a Guild that not only exemplifies this, but exceeds these ideas and more… I have been a member for just about 24 hours… like a 6 year old who has to tell everyone they are 6 1/2… I have been struck by the combination of vibrant people who contribute to this thoughtful space… And I am in awe… Never underestimate the power of the human connection! It is here…”.
As the gift of Walker’s beautiful words floated sweetly down on to my notepad the heavens opened leaving nothing left unsaid except Blaise’s voice echoing “Boom” in my head.
