This evening, we are gathering virtually to recognize the achievement of Champion. The title of Champion is a high recognition a Paladin of Aachen can achieve. It requires the honoree to master an advanced level of personal confidence as well as selfless service to the guild, with a focus on goods production and GBG command capabilities. One must demonstrate exceptional valor, diligence and generosity to achieve Champion.
This evening, we are recognizing RTG 090 as a Champion. The first five criteria have been met. Tonight, he will donate 50,000 goods to the guild to meet the final criterion. Following that, we will donate FPs to Rob’s CF and get it up a level.
Rob joined Paladins to help fill the leadership void I left when I went on hiatus from the game. It is important to note that he never asked for a leadership role but he quickly stepped up to do the best he could when the team needed him most. And he didn’t simply just ensure Paladins survived, he was integral in seeing that they thrived. He has been solid all along… always has put the guild and others before himself, always stepping up to lead GBG when needed, always quick to offer advice, goods or a helping hand any way he can to smaller members. And he doesnt do any of it for personal gain, glory or recognition of any type… just keeps plugging away day after day, week after week, season after season. He is a quiet professional. So it is very fitting that Rob gets to be the first to recieve PoA’s new award and be the first inductee into The Order of Champions. Paladins are very fortunate to have you Rob and it is an honor for all of us to have you as a guildmate.
