I was there, standing and just looking at the atmosphere. At that time, I had just been accepted into this family. I can only chuckle in awe at how the troops they sent were so terrifying. Dancing nimbly on one battlefield, to the next. From one era to another. Beating, bulldozing, blindly. And I can only be amazed standing there.
When everything was over, they returned to their respective places while still greeting and smiling when they passed where I stood.
Sometimes, I come to this GvG command room when everything is over, and I do my routine, sweep the room and write a few words on the whiteboard that is there (read: Guild’s chat), just to show them, my new family, that I attended and watched them. Because yeah that’s all I can do right now. I’m still weak, let alone fighting in GvG, fighting in GBG is already exhausting!
I did it almost everyday for months. But it turns out that my activities where I always sweep and write words on the whiteboard, steal someone’s attention from one of the beasts.
“n3m0, sorry, we rarely talk there, it doesn’t mean we don’t care about you”, said the man with the helmet he always wore. Actually I wonder with him, how can he keep wearing a helmet wherever he goes? I am sure there is a treasure under his helmet…
“Oh it’s okay! I understand! I just want to be there. To show that I pay attention to you all. One day I will definitely join”, I said enthusiastically. The man in the helmet just smiled, nodded and left me.
The day went on and without realizing it, weeks and months had passed. One night in a room, there was a frenzy of fighters organizing their troops to secure several areas in GvG. And looks, currently led by BadDR, one of the coolest female warriors in the Knights Templar.
“How is it all safe?!”, she asked.
“PE is done! LMA is done! CA is done! etc.”, so many people answered back.
“HMA is done! EMA is done!”, I and Sequim answered at the same time.
Yup, I was there, with my family. No longer as a room sweeper, but has joined the struggle together with my brothers and sisters who patiently waiting till i am ready.
