GBG Report – 9/26/2022
I want to thank everybody for the great effort this past season of GBG. We were on the new map this season. We partnered with Rough Riders and swapped three sextants. The other three sextants were divided between District X, Vanguard’s Fort, 7 Deadly Sins and Ice & Fire.
Rough Riders was a great partner, as usual, though slower than usual. Leading was fairly easy, at least as much is possible on the new map. We were fortunate to be able to swap part of the 5th ring regularly, which allowed for even more fights. We actually had a repeat of the setup in Sextant D that we had two seasons ago with Iron Cross. Many stepped up to help lead and things went very smoothly. We didn’t really have any challenges when racing on X. Overall, this was a prosperous yet relaxed season.
This ended up being our fourth best season ever, which is astonishing considering that we only had half of the map. We ran this season about as efficiently as possible
I estimate that guild members won more than 200,000 FPs this season, which is really the number that counts the most in any season of GBG and why we do this in the first place. This is a very strong number for us.
We finished 1st this time. This is our 41st time finishing 1st since being in Diamond. Finishing 1st means that we gain 175 League Points and remain at 1,000 LPs (1,000 LPs is the maximum), which means that we will stay in High Diamond.
