Blaise, His Love Story, Dream and Hope

I’ve interviewed another guild’s leaders, but have I interviewed our guild’s leader? Not yet until now!
Today is our special day because I have a chance to interviewed Blaise and see what is the inside of his helmet and to know who really he is. So, here we go guys, hope you like it 🙂

n3m0: “who are you ? when the first time you joined here? :)”

Blaise: “I used to be called Weboboy. I first started playing in July 2018. I played in different guilds for a while. I got banned from the game in January 2019 and then came back about 5 months later. I joined Knights Templar (Knights of DC at the time) in January 2020. My game took off after that.”

n3m0: “i see, who changed the name of guild KoDC to KT ? and who were our guildies with you from the start??”

Blaise: “The name change was a process that lasted for several months before we found a new name. There was interest in changing the name as many of us felt that our previous name didn’t really define us. We eventually voted on a new name among several choices and “Knights Templar” got the most votes. We changed the name a few months before you joined us.

Mingalo, Hillbilly, Regalo and Saladin are a few others who were in the guild at the time. We have grown a lot since then.”

n3m0: “Great. Well I know you know a lot about foe history, including cryad, triad, etc.. But I wont ask that, do you mind to let us know what kind of music and food do you like? ?”

Blaise: “I like a lot of music, mostly older like 1970s through 1990s. I like Italian food the best. Also like steak and seafood.”

n3m0: “Ow interesting! rock? metal? hiphop?
i love steak and seafood too! hope someday we can meet for real! haha”

Blaise: “Rock and some hip hop. I would love that. You should come to the United States sometime. I can even introduce you to turkey. ?”

n3m0: “bhahhaha you still rememer that turkey hahaha, would love too, just wait for me haha

why are you called pitbull? who gave you that call?”

Blaise: “I was called that in real life by different people in the past. People who I worked with.”

n3m0: “owh, that’s something new, i thought someone here called you that.
um… how do you describe yourself then? humble demanding loving complicated person or like me? handsome, charming and always awesome? *puke!* ahahaha”

Blaise: “Nobody is as handsome as you. We all know that. ?
I try to be humble. I really do. I suppose it isn’t all that humble to go around telling everyong that I’m humble. ??
I would say that I am demanding, loving and complicated, yes. I would say resilient too.”

n3m0: “bahahaha nice, now tell me, when you had that “secret recognizion” do you have a clue before? because We did a mistake by adding you from beginning, although Diana kicked you when she found out hahaha, so, do you suspicious when that happened? haha”

Blaise: “Nope, I had no idea. I have been off a lot more recently as I have gotten busier. I greatly appreciated the recognition, of course.”

What do you like most from our guild anyway? :)”

Blaise: “I love how the people in our guild come together like no other. Whenever I need the guild to do something, they respond like it’s nobody’s business. No other guild takes care of its people like KT and no guild pulls together to kick butt like KT. I love this guild.”

n3m0: “and what is the biggest challenge this guild has to face right now? what should be improved from us at this time?”

Blaise: “I think keeping momentum and keeping morale high. 2020 was a big year for us as a guild. We came up from nothing that year and grew into a strong guild using GBG. And by 2021, we had already risen and stayed strong. By this point, the people who have been here for a while have already built up their cities and become strong. It is hard to find a new goal to pursue at this point. The people who make this game haven’t done much to help with that lately.

But the guild stays strong because of our people and the spirit we have. Many of us play this game for each other as much as for ourselves. If it hadn’t been for this guild, I’m sure I would have stopped playing by now.”

n3m0: “oh i see.. its nice to know about our history…
do you still have a dream to achieve with the guild then?”

Blaise: “It is hard to say. We made a strategic decision in spring of 2020 to focus relentlessly in GBG. And that has paid off enormously for us. There is a lot of uncertainty now as they are testing a major nerf to GBG which will largely ruin GBG for us if implemented.

GvG is something that we didn’t used to do at all. We are enabled to do GvG because we became strong in GBG. But GvG is a feature in the game that the makers of this game have made clear they will not improve. It is a dead feature that they will hopefully remove and replace with something else. I really don’t know what will happen.

I have a goal of getting us to 200,000 guild goods produced per day. I think we will accomplish that this year. But a goal like that is much less visible that what we were able to accomplish in the past.

Whatever happens with the game, I would like keep playing mostly because the people here. I think most in the guild will do the same for the same reason, even if they screw up GBG.”

n3m0: “nice! Was about to ask more, but you already answered!

I’ve been with you for so long and I know there are a lot of girls out there who have a crush on you, how do you respond to this? bhahahaha”

Blaise: “Well that’s news to me. ????” *red faces*

n3m0: “ahahahah dont laugh, what is your opinion on this ahahahha”

Blaise: “You know, I just do my thing and live my life as best as I can. If girls like me, I can’t complain. ??”

n3m0: “bhahahahhahaah any message for them?”

Blaise: … (silent blinking eyes and red faces)

n3m0: “Blaise, do we have a guild as our enemy?”

Blaise: “2S has been our enemy for a while now. Their choice, not ours. We try to get along with everyone. Most of the Cryad is fighting us now as they don’t like what we do in GBG. It happens.”

n3m0: “and our new guildies dont know who is Cryad, mind to let us know who they are? :)”

Blaise: “2S, FoT, OBC, UWS and some smaller guilds. We get along with UWS but we fight the others.”

n3m0: “talk about new guildies, we have many of them now, what do you hope from them? :)”

Blaise: “We have always brought in new players and built them up. For whatever reason, our guild have never really appealed to already established advanced players. Our strength has come from taking in new players and building them up. We have several with great enthusiasm who joined us and are quickly becoming strong parts of the team. Bing and Tula are a few of them.”

n3m0: “nice 🙂 and last one, any message for all of us :)”

Blaise: “Remember that this game is a marathon and not a sprint. The people who we play this game with are most important. Without the connections we make with people, this game would just be a bad habit.”
