This evening, we are gathering virtually to recognize the achievement of Count. The title of Count is the highest recognition a Knight Templar can achieve. It requires mastery of all aspects of this game, from fighting to goods production. One must demonstrate exceptional valor, diligence and generosity to achieve Count.
This evening, we are recognizing Diana as Countess. The first ten criteria have been met. Tonight, she will donate 200,000 goods to the guild to meet the final criterion. Following that, we will donate FPs to Diana’s Arc and get it up a level.
Diana joined us two years ago this month coming from Merchants & Dragons, brought here by Teasairg. It would be hard to imagine the guild being anywhere near what it is today without Diana. She has jumped in and helped with every aspect of running this guild more than any player I have ever seen. She was made a leader in the guild after around 6 months in the guild and she has done more to run this guild than anybody else in the year and a half since. It is fitting that she is the first to receive this new title. I can’t think of anything that this guild does without help from Diana. She helps run both GBG and GvG. She handles more of the interguild diplomacy than anybody else, a thankless but often exhausting task to be sure. Her diplomatic efforts have resulted in peace and understanding with a few guilds that I would never have been able to accomplish that with. I don’t think many in the guild realize what a monumental accomplishment that is and how much we benefit from it. Whenever anything comes up, she is the one I speak with first and depend on the most. And all of this is to say nothing about her enormous growth as a player. She has become one of this world’s strongest fighters. More importantly than anything she does in the game, she cares more about each of us than anyone else. I am sure that I am omitting many things that she has done for all of us. It is a joy having her in this guild and I am honored to have her as a guildmate.
