This evening, we are gathering virtually to recognize the achievement of First Knight. The title of First Knight is a high recognition a Knight Templar can achieve. It requires mastery of all aspects of this game, from fighting to goods production. One must demonstrate exceptional valor, diligence and generosity to achieve First Knight.
This evening, we are recognizing DJ-2022 as a First Knight. The first five criteria have been met. Tonight, he will donate 20,000 goods to the guild to meet the final criterion. Following that, we will donate FPs to DJ’s Arctic Orangery and get it up several levels.
DJ first came to this guild early on when were a fledgling guild with mostly baby players. He came here in early 2020, a few weeks after I did. He had his hand in everything we accomplished as a guild, way back when very few of us even had Arcs and we were struggling to figure out this new feature called GBG. Whenever I had an idea, DJ was usually the first I would talk to. Of course, he has many great ideas himself, more so than any other player I have seen. One of the smartest (and also wisest) players I have seen, he will find a way to exploit opportunities in this game for maximum benefit. He became one of the most prolific goods traders in Jaims. After our guild had finished its meteoric rise in 2020, DJ left the game in early 2021. Over a year later, he came back with a new account. He is the only player to be awarded First Knight twice! As brilliant as he is, he always puts others and the guild before himself. It is a joy having him in this guild and I am honored to have him as a guildmate.
